About Me

Mum to three, Functional Health Coach, and Hair Loss Expert

I'm Laura, a Board Certified Functional Health Coach (A-CFHC and NBC-HWC) with a passion for helping women reclaim their health and vitality. I'm the only Functional Health Coach who's board certified and trained to support women during menopause in the UK. After working for big and small organisations in the UK, US and Singapore I initially retrained as a Functional Health Coach to support my own family's health after experiencing autoimmune diseases like Hashimoto's and Alopecia.

My experience has given me a deep understanding of the challenges women face at midlife, particularly in terms of weight loss, hormone balance, and hair loss. Prior to finding the Functional Health approach, I wasted lots of time and money with trichologists and dermatologists trying to find a solution for my son's hair loss. This experience led me to formulate an evidence-based approach to hair regrowth that has helped many women achieve their hair loss goals. I've worked with countless women who have tried 'everything' to lose weight or balance their hormones.

Many women feel overwhelmed by the constant barrage of information and advice, and they're often left feeling lost and frustrated.

I've found that Functional Health Coaching provides a personalized and empowering approach to addressing these issues. During my time coaching for a not-for-profit organization, I realized that so many women were experiencing the same midlife challenges. My Journey Towards Menopause Wellness

My own personal experience with perimenopause ignited my passion for this field. I vividly recall the days when I felt lost, overwhelmed, and disconnected from my body. I yearned for guidance, for someone to help me understand the changes I was experiencing and empower me to take control of my health. I started with the DUTCH complete test which showed exactly where I needed to focus in order to start feeling better.

This combination of self-discovery and training has resulted in being immersed in the world of functional nutrition, hormone optimization, and mental well-being.
